History: I am originally from Holland, my family still lives there. My mother did not know anything about American food, so she gave me this recipe for me to use. I made it a lot of times during my first few years in the US, and still do occasionally. Everything, except chicken comes from the pantry. Easy as 1,2, three, let's eat
Description: Excellent recipe for leftover chicken
Serving Size: 4
Preparation Time: 25 minutes

2 cups cooked chicken, chopped in bite size pieces
4 oz butter
2 onions, sliced thin
3/4 cup ketchup
3/4 cup orange juice
3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp prepared mustard
2 cups cooked rice, kept hot
salt, pepper to taste
Brown onions in butter. Add ketchup, OJ, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Heat over medium heat until hot, stir occasionally. Add chicken, salt, and pepper. Heat until chicken is hot. Serve on top of cooked rice.
