History: My mom has made this recipe for years. After she passed away in August 1996, I was going through her recipe file and found this family favorite.

1 pound fish fillets (I like cod, my mom liked perch)
1 can Campbell's condensed Italian tomato soup
1 onion, sliced thin
Romano cheese

Sauté onion in small amount of oil. Add condensed soup and cheese. Cook over low heat for 20 minutes.

Place fish in baking dish. Pour tomato sauce over fish. Bake on 350 for 45 minutes.

Serve over steamed rice. Garnish with more cheese, if desired.
