History: I wanted to try something to incorporate beef and white wine yet retain my Canadian heritage weeknight dinner quality.

Description: Side Vegetable

Serving Size: 8-10

Preparation Time: 3 hours

2 lbs. fresh green beans
1 large (cut in chunks) green pepper
2 mild yellow hot peppers
4 slices bacon cut in small pieces
1 large onion, chunked
2 small cans tomatoes (diced)
enough water to cook all ingredients until tender
Put all ingredients into large stock pan. Cover with water; cook until beans are tender; add water if necessary. Usually takes about 3 hours
