History: I made this recipe up, as my husband likes to eat chicken that is not messy. It also tastes good. Description: Lightly Browned and Golden Preparation time: about 30 minutes Serves: 6 Amount/Measure/Ingredient:6, large [boneless] chicken thighs 18 crackers, Saltine type 1 egg 1/4 cup flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1/8 tsp. rubbed thyme 1/8 tsp. rubbed basil 1/8 tsp. sage |

Instructions:
With rolling pin, crush crackers quite fine, add the spices and salt & pepper and place on a plate. In a bowl beat the egg with 2 tbsp. water, place the flour on another plate. Dip the chicken in flour, then in egg mixture, then in cracker crumbs. Fry the chicken in a preheated frying pan in 1/8 cup oil until golden brown.
