Recipe Name: Ranchero Sauce

History: I searched for a recipe for this sauce that is served in Mexican Restaurants down here in South Texas, I was not successful so I finally came up with this one, and it is close to the one use down here on gilled steaks.

10 green onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup green pepper, finely chopped
1 ripe tomato, peeled and chopped
1 can diced tomatoes with green chili's, un-drained
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8-1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
Combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Either spoon directly onto the steak or you choice or serve as a side dish.
